Independent measurement of the total active B-8 solar neutrino flux using an array of He-3 proportional counters at the sudbury neutrino observatory

My work on this paper was principally in the area of data analysis. I supervised my doctoral student, Wan Tseung, in his development of detailed simulations of the He-3 proportional counter response, and a detailed alpha background model, which were crucial for this phase of the project. I also chaired the internal review committee that assessed some of the key background uncertainties related to this counter response and was part of another review committee to assess the overall analysis method.
