Additional information

This paper challenged the generally held view that the minimum displacement rate obtained in small punch tests was directly related to the minimum creep strain rate in an uniaxial creep test. The proposed new method of interpreting the data has caused users and researchers of the technique to rethink the way in which they interpret SPCT data.
