Additional information

This output results from research into colour (often referred to as counter-change) symmetry, an avenue of enquiry which is of long standing at the University of Leeds. Such research comes largely, though not entirely, from the disciplines of crystallography and applied mathematics; this output is a rare exception, and views the systematic colouring of regularly repeating tilings and patterns from a non-scientific standpoint. Relevant principles and concepts are adapted and presented in a format of value to visual artists and designers.
