Additional information

Based on collaborative research with the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, the paper reports a novel approach to modelling geometric characteristics of nonwoven fabrics that are a key design parameter influencing functional performance. Based on this collaboration, British Council funding was successfully secured to allow Rawal to join Russell in Leeds in 2012 to complete a further collaborative research project on modelling the design of tissue engineering scaffolds.
