This work was the first work to attempt the manufacture of nylon objects by a jetting technique and was fundamental in setting the scene so that further work could be done in this area and subsequently led to the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Additive Manufacturing where jetting of reactive polymers is one of the main processes being investigated.
