Additional information
<25> This paper introduced Bayesian sequential hypothesis testing and showed that it enables much faster verification than state-of-the-art techniques. This paper led to further developments in verification of cyber-physical systems, non-deterministic systems, and other areas (see my FMSD 2013, SBMF 2010, QEST 2012 papers), and contributed in obtaining a $10,000,000 (£6,250,000) grant from the US National Science Foundation (PI Edmund M. Clarke – emc@cs.cmu.edu; award no. 0926181). Leading verification tools such as Prism (www.prismmodelchecker.org) and Uppaal (www.uppaal.org) now incorporate statistical model checking capabilities.
