The final paper in a sequence of publications that arose from a programme of BBSRC BRIC funded work (BB/E005853/1 & BB/D007933/1) on cell surface biotinylation for facile cell and virus capture (with Prof Farzin Farzaneh, Kings College London, contact available on request), from which emerged UK Patent Application No. 0920775.4. This work was conducted by an A-Star (Singapore) funded researcher (Dr Vincent Ho) and shows that the approach can be used to assemble tissue constructs.
