Additional information
This is the first paper to report results on flow through rotating cylinders with internal dams. The results have been reported in a review (Gao et al., Powder Technology doi: 10.1016/j.powtec.2012.05.060) to be useful for industrial kilns where conical brickwork dams at different locations are common. The results have been used to assess the accuracy of an analytic solution for bed depth (Danish et al., Powder Technology, doi: 10.1016/j.powtec.2012.06.042).
