Additional information

The results in this research paper represent an international collaboration (CONMOW) involving the foremost research centres for wind energy. This was the first project to develop an integrated wind turbine condition monitoring system for offshore wind turbines and has influenced research work in a number of leading university groups in the UK, e.g. University of Strathclyde (David Infield, david.infield@strath.ac.uk), Durham University (peter.tavner@durham.ac.uk) and abroad, e.g. NREL, USA. This project led to the EPSRC consortium grant (EP/D034566/1, value £2,552,788).
