EU Administrative Law and Policy is a legal treatise, which examines the legal framework of EU administration to present in a single volume a critical account of the general body of administrative law of the EU. Its extended scope results from its ambition to extricate in a detailed and meticulous fashion administrative law from across the vast range of policy areas of European Union law. The book could as well have been published as a series of three, possibly four, separate volumes, but it was felt that a single volume was best in preserving the argumentative unity of the work.
