Additional information

A generic framework is proposed for modelling and estimating 3-D soccer ball trajectories from multiple fixed cameras. A novel segment-based model is introduced to model ball motion in consecutive cycles of four different phases, with computer vision techniques applied for 3-D ball positioning, using triangulations between observations from multiple cameras.
