Additional information
This paper was one of a series which used the Brookhaven National Laboratory Synchrotron Light Source in New York to make in-situ x-ray diffraction measurements on real scaling (surface crystallisation) systems. The reviewers described this research as “pioneering”. Mavredaki was awarded her PhD in 2009 and is employed by oil plus. The work is sponsored by a 20-partner Joint Industry Programme (with Heriot Watt University) in which Neville is the Leeds PI. The confirmation of this work is through the new FASTV Program 2013-2017.
