This paper was aimed at contributing to the current reform process taking place in social work education in the UK. The paper is based on an HEA funded research project with social work academics in both of Northern Ireland’s two Universities. Wilson was the Principal Investigator for the project and was responsible for the rationale and conceptual design of the study. Wilson is the main author and Campbell was co-author. Both authors contributed to the development of the project, including the research design, development of the questionnaires and analyses of data.
