English abstract
This article focuses on Camillo Baldi and on his status as a writer of political theory. It takes issue with several assumption and implicit value-judgments of the ‘Cambridge school’. It argues that the social and political conditions of the production of texts, especially censorship, have to be taken more seriously and that the concept of politics of the Cambridge school is far too narrow to embrace the variety of possible political theories.
