Additional information

<2> Sensors and actuators. This is an article demonstrating another successful integration of expertise between UWE and University of Bristol researchers working within BRL’s Centre for Medical Innovation and Technology. The article represents a culmination of seven years of research aimed at bringing advanced haptics (a sensitive remote sense of touch) into robot surgery. The work has now been incorporated into ‘closer to market’ external funding applications, in collaboration with practising soft tissue surgery specialists.
