Additional information
This is the first imaging study of tissue changes during breast cancer radiotherapy. New methods to adapt treatment reduce risk of missing target. This research has generated guidelines for a national trial, enabling more accurate radiotherapy nationally and internationally with fewer predicted treatment side effects, which will be verified over the next five years of trial patient follow-up.
