Additional information

The introduced ‘Adjustable Receiver Complexity’ concept is one of the main outcomes of http://www.umic.rwth-aachen.de/. By adjusting the receiver processing of iterative, multi-antenna receivers to the transmission conditions and the required throughput we achieve complexity gains of about an order of magnitude. This method enables the development of pragmatic, near-capacity-achieving multi-antenna systems. The work is forming part of the studies on 5G standards.
