Additional information
This paper considers a 2D leaky-wave antenna (LWA) formed from a metallic PRS mounted above an AMC ground plane. The paper revealed, for the first time, that there is a minimum in the attenuation constant versus cavilty height curve. The findings were greeted as an important contribution to knowledge by world leading experts. Following on from this work Antrum Ltd investigated the possibility of using LWA's to create a flat plate antenna for satellite TV reception.
