Additional information

This output derives from my research project on language testing and citizenship in Luxembourg. This chapter explains the timing of the implementation of language testing in relation to recent citizenship legislation in the European Union, with specific focus on the case of Luxembourg. The edited volume in which the chapter appears is 1 of 2 outputs of an AHRC-funded Research Network on ‘Testing Regimes’ (2006-2007) led by Patrick Stevenson and Clare Mar-Molinero (Centre for Transnational Studies, Southampton). I contributed a parallel chapter to the second output arising from the ‘Testing Regimes’ Research Network (Extra et al. 2009).
