Fitche's Social and Political Philosophy: Property and Virtue

This book deserves to be double weighted because of the range of issues and texts that it covers. This range is shown by the fact that it contains revised material from five separate articles that had previously been published in quality journals. It covers texts from most of the main periods of Fichte’s philosophical development, some of which have received little attention in the English-speaking world. I therefore had to research a large amount of material in German and French. The book is, in fact, the first one in English on the particular topic by a single author since the 1930s.
