Research in the Sociology of Organisations is a journal whose editions focus on specific themes. In the 2011 edition the theme was the relationship between Philosophy and Organisation and authors were invited to provide reviews of the uses made of particular traditions of thought within the organisation studies literature so that the volume as a whole serves as a reference guide. Geoff Moore and I were invited to consider the impact of MacIntyre's neo-Aristotelianism as this has come to be used; this publication recognised the work we have undertaken to develop MacIntyrean enquiries in organisations.
