Taxation influences upon the market in venture capital trust stocks: theory and practice

An early draft of this output in discussion paper format was submitted by one of the authors Jackson, R.H.G. at the University of Exeter to UoA 35 (Accounting and Finance) of the RAE2008. Since that version, there have been the following key developments: sample derivation and data collection for the paper have been completely re-performed, and the data set expanded substantially in both cross-sectional and time dimensions; the hypotheses have been expanded; the theoretical and empirical modelling have been further developed; empirical analysis and investigations have been completely re-performed and substantially expanded; the conclusions have been enhanced.
