Additional information

<22> We describe a complete audio-based music recommendation system, from signal processing to the use of IR techniques to select matching tracks. The system is built using a large music database and performance of different techniques is evaluated rigorously using human subjects. We also address the issue of computational complexity, which is key for the practical realisation of music recommendation systems. The features and the classification techniques described in this paper have become standard approaches in many musical recommendation systems.
