Double-weighted statement

This volume of 250,000 words represents the culmination of many years of research and writing, partly supported by a Leverhulme award. It is the sequel to two earlier volumes which synthesise a history of modern genocide through the prism of world-history. Crisis of Genocide considers the historical significance of all European or near-European genocides (1912-1953) including the Holocaust, as a totality. As such it has involved a rich diversity of sources in several languages followed by detailed interpretation.
