Author contribution:

This volume (110,000 words) brings together an international group of world-leading scholars in the field of comparative exegesis in Late Antiquity to highlight new methods and research directions. Spurling’s contribution to the co-edited collection of essays is 50%. In terms of editing, she was responsible for peer-reviewing articles and copy editing as well as first author on the introduction. The volume also contains a co-authored article on ‘Abraham’s Angels’, which is divided into three sections. Spurling was the sole author of the section on rabbinics and first author of the section on exegetical encounter and conclusions.
