Additional information

In textual case-based reasoning (TCBR), the reuse and revision stages are particularly challenging, as the retrieved solution is free text. One approach is to label textual units according to whether they should be reused or must be revised.

This paper introduces a novel architecture, the case reuse retrieval net (C2RN), which extends the standard case retrieval net (CRN) by indexing cases according to the words in their solutions as well as their problems. This facilitates labelling of solution terms based on their distribution over cases, using problem and solution spaces.

Experiments on two datasets show better performance than previous work.
