Additional information

This paper describes original activities conducted by product owners using agile methods in large international software development projects. The rigorous grounded theory approach used replicated research sites from 8 selected large enterprises in UK and India. Interviews with 45 practitioners were conducted and transcribed. The transcript data was meticulously categorised and systematically analysed. The new activities were extracted through detailed analysis of this large volume of research data. The significance of the research is that the new activities identified extend agile development processes into the large enterprise space.
