Additional information

<28>The rapidly developing field of biomedical and life sciences has an urgent need to convert sequence data into information about protein structure and function. This describes our most recent developments to provide methods for this purpose; outlining a novel 3D prediction pipeline called BioSerf which integrates many of our methods that have revolutionized protein structure prediction. The BioSerf server was ranked 9th in the world for template-free prediction when compared to 102 leading prediction servers at the CASP8 competition. In terms of impact, our servers receive over 750 prediction requests each day from groups at MIT, Stanford, Caltech and others.
