Additional information

Charge carrier mobilities play an important role in the recombination process. Thermal annealing at 423 K is recommended for best device performance, but we proposed that at this temperature restructuring causes a disruption in the electron pathways resulting from clustering of PCBM molecules, impeding electron flow to the aluminium contact. We were able to show the effects of annealing on charge carrier mobility and its impact on recombination process and power conversion efficiency. Outputs 2-4 were partly collaborative with Imperial College. This paper received official recognition for the presentation at the conference and will be published in the official journal.
