This paper reports findings from research carried out at the Universities of Greenwich and Bath by Pam Maras in collaboration with colleagues from the University of Bath and leads on from a joint project funded by the HEA on students’ anxiety and identity in relation to the internet and technology use generally. Pam Maras made a significant contribution to the design, measures and identification of participants and oversight of data collection and to commenting on the paper for publication
