Additional information

<20>The work accomplished under the DEPtH (Design for Physicality) project, an AHRC/EPSRC funded Design for the 21st Century Initiative, is disseminated through this book chapter. It highlights the important role that physicality plays in improving design and providing users with enriching experiences. Often, the physical aspects of a device are overlooked by its digital components. DEPtH has been instrumental in nurturing a multidisciplinary community through an on-going series of international Physicality workshops. Some of the workshop pioneers are members of the TEI (tangible, embedded and embodied interaction) ACM international conference steering committee and physicality also features as a submission topic.
