Additional information

This work provided proof of principle for a major research contract; IRC (2010) sponsored by government departments and agencies under the UK’s CONTEST strategy. Also it underpins our major full proposal (selected for funding) to the US DHS S&T Directorate’s BAA 13-05: Advanced X-ray Material Discrimination. We lead this work in collaboration with Cranfield University; Granted Patent US 8462913 is exploited through a joint Nottingham/Cranfield spin-off company; HALO X-ray Technologies.
