This paper resulted from a need to understand and develop continuous biogas production from waste silage liquors. The data generated from the project was used to aid the development of an energy storage system as well as provide data and understanding to a local company in the design of their anaerobic digestion plants. Furthermore data from the work was also used to advise local government on biogas production and utilisation in the Northern Ireland region.
