Additional information

<07> Originality: This was, at the time of publication, the most thorough analysis of the design space of bidirectional model transformations and of open research questions relating to them.

Significance: The paper provides an analysis which is at the same time useful and widely accessible; it has been cited not only by authors working in model-driven development and related fields, but also in papers on systems on chip, FPGAs, metrics and business process realignment.

Rigour: The paper's points were supported by reference to published papers and by careful, though informal, arguments.
