Additional information

This interdisciplinary research, conducted in collaboration with the Department of Bioengineering and the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, describes the analysis and development of a novel interdigitated impediometric bio-sensor for rapid detection of specific pathogenic bacteria. The novel sensor technology has practical applications in new compact bio-sensors for healthcare, food, environmental monitoring and bio-security.
