Double-weighted statement

This output comprises a critical edition of arguably the most significant, most substantial and most complex of extant Medieval Welsh lawbooks, being a comprehensive compendium of legal material drawn from numerous, diverse sources as regards date and provenance, and providing unique evidence regarding native legal practice in its final phase. This output includes extensive critical apparatus, including a detailed conspectus of a range of other legal material, much of which exists only as primary sources in the form of unedited manuscripts, and has required extensive periods of painstaking library work. This output is the culmination of almost thirty years’ study.
