This paper introduces a model for functional imaging for radiotherapy planning and demonstrates how to determine patient radiobiology from functional imaging for personalised dose painting plus treatment modification for tissue changes. Dose delivery based on patient biology will have significant impact in the head and neck, where hypoxia is currently a major problem in treatment.
