Menter led a large team at the University of Glasgow to carry out this major literature review commissioned by the Scottish Government to support the Donaldson Review of teacher education in Scotland. Donaldson has acknowledged the use he made of the review in writing his report and it has been widely used by teacher education scholars in the UK and elsewhere.
