Additional information

Nurse was one of the primary authors of this publication, which was the first ATLAS publication with data. She was responsible for the way the measurement was made. A pioneering technique in which the data can be directly compared to theoretical predictions with minimal dependence on input models. This technique was subsequently adopted by all LHC experiments. Nurse also designed the trigger strategy for the analysis. She commissioned the triggers used in the analysis and measured the trigger efficiency in a pioneering way that reduces dependence on theoretical models.
