Double-weighted statement

This 619-page work is based on the discovery and analysis of primary sources—the texts of sermons delivered by American and British rabbis when their countries went to war. Almost all were previously unknown, many discovered in archival collections or pamphlets that were of considerable interest when the sermon was delivered but are rare today. The most challenging task was to provide annotations for each sermon, identifying not only references to sources, but also allusions to now obscure events that everyone would have recognized. The book fulfills the second, third, fourth, and fifth criteria listed for double-weighted outputs.
