Additional information

This research was conducted in collaboration with three world-class universities: Tsinghua and Beijing Normal University in China and Columbia University in the USA. Its key innovation is the voting-based aggregation method for finding equivalent entities in ontologies and Linked Open Data (LOD) on the Web. RiMON, the algorithm reported in the paper, achieved the second best performance results (Euzenat et al., p. 177, LNCS 6720, 2011) in a large-scale (in terms of volume of data and number of tests) competition with 14 teams from all over the world, at the 2010 Ontology Matching Competition (http://oaei.ontologymatching.org/2010/) organised by the EU Network of the Living Labs.
