Additional information

<29> Paper chosen as one of 5 nominated research outputs (from 122 peer-reviewed papers) considered for independent assessment of the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Data and Methods (WISERD) project funded by HEFCW/ESRC. The novel algorithm uses traditional two-step floating catchment area principles but adapts these to the specific characteristics of a bus transit service. The algorithm recognises a bus stop is not an autonomous service provider but typically represents just one provision point in a connected sequence serving a specific transit route.
