Additional information

<06> Published in the widely acknowledged top Journal for the subject, this paper laid the framework for an important enabling technology in the desired exploitation of higher frequencies (up to 50 GHz uplink and 40 GHz downlink) for broadband communication services involving earth-space links. The global model developed in the paper has been submitted to ITU-R (International Telecommunications Union - Radio Sector) for adoption internationally as a standard procedure for application in the design of earth-space communication systems utilising hub diversity.
