Additional information

<05> Motivated by problems with 3G video telephony in light of video call capabilities in 3G mobile handsets and higher data rates in 3G UMTS networks, this paper investigates different encoding techniques on different access technologies. Quality of Experience evaluated with real users. Results were used to fine tune the encoding techniques. An earlier version of this paper was published in the CICSYN2009 IEEE Conference. From those papers, only 7 were selected to be published in the IJSSST journal after review. A Patent Application (No. GB2475578A) has been filed around an improved version of the idea.
