<16>This work was carried out in the context of the European projects CASPAR and KP-LAB. This paper measures and analyzes the graph features of semantic Web (SW) schemas with focus on power-law degree distributions. The analysis identified emerging conceptual modeling practices of SW schema developers, essential for guiding synthetic SW schema generation. This important step toward benchmarking SW repositories and query language implementations formed a founding block for the Linked Data Benchmark Council (LDBC). The paper attracted 37 citations (Google Scholar, checked on 09/10/13).
