Additional information

<22>This paper provides the theoretical foundation for the first general-purpose and computationally efficient approach for distributed reasoning with imperfect (inconsistent, incomplete) contextual information. The motivation of this work originates from an analysis of the ambient intelligence domains, but may find application in other setting, such as internet of things and social computing. This work led to further investigations on variations and experimental evaluation with synthetic data (KAIS 2011 paper) and in real environments (KR 2010 paper), and was the basis of the author's invited talks at ADBIS 2010 and RuleML2011(Europe).
