Additional information

The Imatra Art Museum, Finland, is housed in Imatra’s Culture Centre. The Museum focuses on 20th century Finnish art and stages temporary exhibitions. In 2012 the museum organised KORU4, an event designed to showcase contemporary jewellery called 'Kindred Spirits'. Jewellery artists/artist groups were invited from Europe, USA and New Zealand to collaborate with and to propose an artist or an art piece whom they felt were a "kindred spirit". These kindred paired jewellery artists were shown together. Draper was invited to participate. Her proposal for this exhibition took the form of an invitation to north American jeweller Seth Papac (http://sethpapac.com/) to partner her and to collaborate on a collection of ‘paired’ pendants informed by concepts of being present and the wearing of a presence. They exhibited sixteen pendants.
