Additional information

Dörnyei has co-edited the anthology in which this output appears: 18 chapters, 364pp. Its main objective was to offer scholarly discussion on Dörnyei’s recent motivation theory, “The L2 Motivational Self System”. This theory was first introduced in 2005 and has rapidly become the dominant paradigm in its domain. The editors invited a wide range of international scholars to submit both conceptual and empirical studies that were related to the main theme of the anthology, and the final contributors represent some of the most established L2 motivation experts in the field from four continents.
